Office Manager
The position is working with a small team offering Operational Management, Health & Safety and Feature Management to various UK and European Exhibitions.
The Office Manager will be responsible for providing support services to ensure the smooth running of a variety of tasks including staffing, general administration, hotel bookings and travel arrangements.
Your attention to detail will be key to every aspect of the role and you will need to possess excellent time management, budgeting, multi tasking and communication skills.
The Office Manager's position is key in the day to day running of the company to allow others to succeed in their roles.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day running of the office
- Answer phone and direct calls or take messages
- Manage staffing and staff contracts, holiday requests, lieu days etc
- Provide a full range of administrative duties/functions to the rest of the team and when required.
- Provide Support to the operational team, before, during and after they are on site
- Assist in the collation of expenses and other financial controls
- Actively engage in continuous improvement ensuring suggestions and opportunities are highlighted
- Demonstrate commitment to the core values of the company.
- Booking travel and accommodation
- Assist in collation of staff expenses
- Update company social media platforms
- Maintain databases and spreadsheets
- Any other ad hoc duties
- Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and listening skills), with excellent spelling, grammar and the ability to produce errorfree documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point and use of Mac products
- Proactive and self motivated
- Planning & organisation skills
- Ability to manage company social media platforms
- Problem solving, questioning and focussed on finding solutions
- Working on your own, using your own initiative, as well as being a team player
- Flexible and with a passion for continuous improvement
- Reliability and discretion
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary:
£13.00 per hour
