We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team to maintain all our plant, based at Raisby Quarry, County Durham.

You must have previous experience in a similar role. You will have a flexible, proactive, and 'hands-on' approach to work with effective communication, problem solving and IT skills.

In the role, you will be involved with contractors and colleagues at every level in the business and therefore should be able to work confidently and courteously within the team and on your own initiative.

This role may involve travel to other Breedon and customer locations and therefore the job holder must possess a full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out tasks safely having conducted Risk Assessments
Prioritising and scheduling critical works
Arranging Servicing and repairs to mobile plant and fixed plant
React to breakdown repairs in the field
Record keeping for work undertaken
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the workshop and around the quarry

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

Demonstrate that you can work safely
Possess good organisational and communication skill
Have the appropriate skills and qualifications to execute the requirements of the role, and to provide flexibility to undertake emergency repairs where and when these arise
