Our Client is seeking to recruit a Head of Service (SEND & Inclusion) providing vision, system leadership and stakeholder management to develop and sustain Our Client's provision for special educational needs, with a focus on coherent, innovative and highly effective partnerships and transitions with and between all providers and stakeholders.

Leadership of a number of operational services and functions, which often involve highly significant and complex joined up working to motivate staff, drive and enable achievement of service aims and outcomes, and meet current and future needs of customers
Contribute to the directorate Business Plan, Operational Improvement Plans, Team Ways of Working and Performance Management in line with Key Performance indicators.
Demonstrate the use of high quality data and contextual detail that evidences the impact of services on the long term outcomes for children and young people, reporting as appropriate to directorate, corporate, elected member, stakeholder, Ofsted or DfE fora.
Manage identified service budgets (whether from General Fund, High Needs Budget, other grant or jointly commissioned budgets) in collaboration as appropriate to ensure forecasted finances remain within agreed budgets so far as possible and identified savings are achieved.
Contribute to Service Communications, Local Offer and digital presence to raise the profile of the work of the whole Service.
Ensure that any complaints are dealt with and managed in a timely fashion in line with Our Client's protocol, and that all FOI requests received by the Service are completed within mandatory timescales.
