Description

The Operations Cost Controller will have a proactive role in managing the Cost Control requirements along with the Project Managers as part of the EA Operations Team.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Raising POs in Sage and adding to Itemised Costs in Trackers for EA Projects;
  • Ownership of reconciling the Itemised Costs within the Project Management Tracker with Sage on receipt of invoices;
  • Adding company credit card, travel, expenses and other costs relating to EA Projects in the Project Management Trackers where appropriate;
  • Assistance with reviewing project margins and investigating anomalies;
  • Working closely with project managers to ensure deadlines are met for invoicing;
  • Support Accounting team in preparation of project invoicing;
  • Supporting Project Managers in requests for Invoices relating to projects where appropriate;
  • Assistance with any other tasks as required to support EA Operations;
  • Adhere strictly to the Company's procedures and policies;
  • Perform any other delegated duties or tasks as instructed by your Line Manager.

Skills Requirements:


  • 2+ years with finance background required;
  • Good degree of accounting and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel;
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multitask;
  • A high degree of flexibility given the nature of the business.

Experience, Competency and Qualifications:


  • Experience within a similar role preferred;
  • SAGE 200 experience beneficial;
  • Accounting/Finance related experience beneficial;
  • Ambitious applicants wishing to pursue a professional qualification will be supported and encouraged.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
