Description

Are you a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity? We have an exciting role available for a highly motivated individual to join friendly school in Gosforth.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.

This includes working one-on-one or in small groups with students to help them achieve their learning objectives, as well as assisting the classroom teacher in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for SEN students.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons, including differentiated instruction and accommodations for SEN students
Supporting students with a range of SEN, including but not limited to, autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Collaborating with other members of the education team to provide a holistic approach to support students with SEN
Monitoring and tracking student progress and providing feedback to the teacher
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Experience working with students with SEN, as well as a strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges that these students face
A relevant teaching assistant or educational support qualification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as part of a team

Acting as a work-finding service, M2 Education are always recruiting for Primary Teaching Assistants and Primary Teachers across Newcastle in Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.

We also recruit for SEN Teaching Assistants across Primary and Secondary.
