Working alongside the class teachers, you will be working with pupils with a range of special needs and having an adaptable approach is crucial.

The role is likely to be varied as the school likes to have Teaching Assistants work with different pupils throughoutthe day, to provide variation for you and also the pupils.


You will also be working with some children with different levels of special needs, so may be working closely with the school SENCO, as well as class teachers and department leaders and the school requires an excellent communicator.

You should be reliable, hard-working and have a very positive, encouraging approach.


The hours for this role are 8.30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday and the pay for this role is £75-85 per day, depending on experience.

The role starts in January 2023 and will continue for the full academic year (until July 2023).

  • Ideally be a graduate or have experience in a secondary school in this type of role
  • Have an enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
