Band 3 Integrated Care Assistant, Mount Nessing Court, Billericay.


This exciting opportunity has arisen for an Integrated Care Assistant who is motivated and enthusiastic about providing high quality care to join our friendly team at our Inpatient Ward at Mount Nessing Court, Billericay.

We are seeking an energetic, passionate person, who is keen to develop new skills. Excellent communication skills and a caring and compassionate nature are important to work within our team.

If you have clinical experience, the ability to work under pressure, are someone who understands the uniqueness of older people and have the drive to want to make a difference, we look forward to hearing from you.


Our ward provides inpatient beds specialising in the rehabilitation of adults requiring assistance with physical health needs as they continue their journey to recovery.

You will be working with patients to achieve their Indvidual goals and regain their independence. We aim to provide safe, effective, high quality care by working closely with patients, relatives and a multi-disciplinary team.

You will administer holistic care to patients in the rehabilitation inpatient setting, identifying and reporting any changes in patient care needs to the nursing staff.

The post holder will work as a member of the integrated health and social care team to ensure high quality nursing service provision is adhered to.


You will demonstrate flexibility, good communication skills, and ability to work as a team member as well as using your own initiative.

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your clinical skills.

Post holders must have an NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care / Care certificate or relevant experience and demonstrate a commitment to further learning and development.

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.


This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £1,136 and a maximum payment of £1,915 per annum pro rata).
