Are You Up To The Challenge?

As the Freelance Social Media Executive you will play a vital role in managing and enhancing Kwalee's reputation and reach within PC & Console social media channels as well as those of our 12+ forthcoming PC & Console titles in advance of and after their launch.

What Does The Job Actually Involve?

Create compelling and shareable content across various social media platforms (e.g., Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Steam & Twitch).
Monitor and manage social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and addressing customer inquiries.
Analyse social media metrics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
Supporting the Senior CSM Team Manager on writing, creating and scheduling posts and Discord server content.
Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Organise and host engaging events, such as game nights, Q&A sessions, contests, or exclusive community activities on Discord.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create event concepts and coordinate logistics.
Generate excitement and encourage participation in events through effective promotion and social engagement.

Your Hard Skills

Proven experience in social media management
Indepth understanding of social media channels including Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Steam & Twitch
Social platform and post scheduling experience (i.e. Sprout Social, Hootsuite etc)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and connect with a diverse community.
Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content and event ideas.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social platform data and generate actionable insights.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Passion for PC & Console gaming, copywriting and social media, is a significant plus.
