This role is crucial in ensuring that all learners receive an exceptional onboarding experience to positively start them off on their learning journey.

This role requires the individual to be friendly with good communication skills and high attention to detail.

The role will have a strong focus on providing IAG guidance, evidence eligibility gathering and inputting accurate and correct information in a timely manner.


Responsibilities:


Advice and Guidance to Learners:


  • Assist learners in completing the enrolment process
  • Provide telephone support to learners and staff, giving guidance on funding requirements.
  • Help learners identify and overcome obstacles or challenges that may hinder their progress.
  • Correspond accurately and timely to learners.
  • Respond to queries from funding partners accurately and timely.

Data Inputting:


  • Assist learners in creating personalised academic/personnel plans based on their goals and program requirements.
  • Help learners select appropriate courses, learning opportunities and progression steps that align with their interests and aspirations.
  • Contacting Learners Via the Telephone to chase up any missing documentation.

Personal and Emotional Support:


  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that acknowledges and addresses learners' personal and emotional needs.
  • Act as a resource for learners experiencing personal challenges or difficulties, providing appropriate referrals or counselling.
  • Advocate for learners' wellbeing and ensure their voices are heard within the educational institution.

Documentation and Evaluation:


  • Provide and document highquality IAG that is provided at enrolment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of learners.
  • Ensure Enrolments meet the required standards as set out in the ESFA funding guidance and supporting scoping documents.
  • Attend, organise, and prepare documentation, agendas, and minutes for meetings.

Performance Expectations:


  • Timely Enrolment of Learners.
  • Completion of 100% of IAG calls with all learners compliantly.
  • Delivery of the enrolment process being 100% compliant with governing bodies and internal measures.
  • Gather all learner evidence to ensure compliance and funding criteria are achieved.
  • 100% completion of the certification process.
  • Learner survey satisfaction score.
  • Satisfactory achievement of objectives on observations.

Skills and Abilities


The ability to promote continuous improvement in the quality of the work of the company and to raise standards of achievement for learners at all levels.

MS Excel competent (experience using formulas in excel).

The ability to analyse and use effectively, data for improvement and to bring about change.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and
work effectively with staff and partners across all parts of the organisation at every level.


Excellent administrative skills, the ability to successfully complete tasks with an eye for detail, and a generally high level of efficiency.

Aptitude for hard work, the ability to take initiative, a flexible approach and an ability to implement change.
