Job description:

St Bonaventure's is an Ofsted Outstanding Catholic School in Forest Gate, London.


St Bonaventure's is seeking to appoint enthusiastic and committed exam invigilators / and readers/scribes who are flexible and reliable to support the smooth running of the exams seasons this academic year.

Invigilators would be required to be available to attend both AM and PM sessions if required.

On a rota basis across for a week in December, 2 weeks in January and all of May and June 2024.


Purpose of the role:


To ensure examinations are conducted in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) awarding body and school regulations; to play a key role in upholding the integrity of exams and assessments; to support the school with access arrangements by either reading to or scribing for pupils who may need this support during exams.

Training will be provided.


Main Duties:


  • Supervise pupils during examinations in accordance with the JCQ regulations and guidance
  • Collecting and organising exam papers
  • Taking attendance registers
  • Supporting pupils throughout examinations with equipment
  • Upholding the integrity and security of pupil examinations
  • Support the Exams Officer with any duties necessary to ensure the smooth running of examinations
