To provide world-class customer service through sale of services and products and to determine the best procedure/service to meet the customer's needsReporting to the Centre Manager, you will:
- Receive, sort and place mail in mailboxes on a daily basis.
- Record sales on cash register and process credit card transactions.
- Receive and process packages for shipping, identifying most appropriate courier service.
- Provide packing services for shipping contents.
- Track documents and packages using manifest system and process claims.
- Present and sell all services through centre displays, facetoface and on the telephone.
- Work closely with approved suppliers to assist in maintaining stock orders and displays in the centre.
- Determine customer requirements for document and finishing services.
- Operate photocopy, printing and finishing services equipment.
- Making simple adjustments to documents (where required)
- Identify customer needs for business cards, letterhead, leaflets and place orders with appropriate suppliers.
- Talk with customers to provide solutions to best serve their needs through crossselling and upselling.
- Talk with customers in order to provide leads for the centre manager to take up.
- Efficiently and professionally serve the customers needs.
- Support the centre manager in maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation around the centre.
- Provide cover for the Manager in his/her absence when required
You will undertake other Centre activities as directed by the Centre Manager and we reserve the right to vary or amend your duties and responsibilities at any time according to the needs of our business.
Person Specification:
You will be a highly focused individual, a team player, willing to take initiative, able to prioritise your workload and able to work unsupervised.
For this customer facing role, you will have excellent written and spoken English, as well as negotiation and interpersonal skills to upsell and cross sell.
The customer needs to be at the centre of your priority while ensuring you sell the right service at the right price.
You will have good excel skills including an understanding of the basic's notion of margin and profitability.
This role will require to work in store from 9am till 5:30pm at the Mail Boxes etc. centre in Deansgate, Manchester.
