Cosmonauts is a London-based B2B Business Development Support & Corporate Events Company.

We run 11 own brand global conferences in the Legal, Intellectual Property, Space Commercialisation, Environmental & Agriculture sectors with agendas focusing on innovation, technology and investments.


We create and execute events of all shapes and sizes from bespoke half-day 25 person forums to 1,000 person 3 day conferences.

Half of our events take place outside the UK, including the US, Europe, Asia & Africa while the bespoke events can take our team anywhere in the world.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic B2B Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by securing:
i) Sponsorship deals for our business-to-business (B2B) conferences; ii) Consultancy Projects and; iii) Group Delegation Packages.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and target potential partnership opportunities, leveraging industry knowledge and market research to create a robust sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored sponsorship solutions.
  • Conduct indepth client needs assessments and deliver persuasive sales presentations that highlight the benefits of sponsoring our B2B conferences.
  • Negotiate sponsorship contracts and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial agreements that meet both client expectations and company objectives.
  • Manage the endtoend sales process, including lead qualification, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management, demonstrating progress against targets and key performance indicators.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and establish new business relationships.

Requirements:

The ability to work autonomously and without supervision while remaining accountable and motivated for your own success

A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.


Proven track record of no less than 2 years of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in B2B conference sponsorship sales or a similar field.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-making, and deliver persuasive presentations.

Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a target-driven environment.

Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on creating win-win solutions for both clients and the company.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Willingness to travel as needed to attend conferences and meet with clients (if applicable).

£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
