Summary

The Rose School caters for the needs of 66 secondary pupils, who all have an EHCP. The pupils experience Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties in varying degrees of severity and complexity. It is essential that our pupils have an engaging, appropriate and inspirational curriculum.
We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic and forward-thinking teaching assistants to work with all our pupils.

The contract will be a variable hours contract, minimum 16 hours to a maximum of 37, starting at 25.5hrs per week 8:30am to 2:00pm Monday to Thursday with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch, 8:30am - 2:00pm Friday including working lunch.

The position may possibly begin sooner if mutually convenient to both parties. This position is term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications

Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
Experience of working with children
Experience of working in a classroom
