Your new role, what's involved?

Working with clients as diverse as National Highways, London City Airport, Mercedes, TIER, numerous government bodies and local authorities, utility providers, private developers, investors and banks and many others
Collaborating with your colleagues across Sustainability & Climate Change, and the wider WSP business, to deliver meaningful solutions to reduce carbon across value chains and embed carbon conscious decision making across all or work.
Preparing presentations, numerical analysis, and reports on a variety of topics to meet varying client requirements; this could include including net zero strategies, carbon management approaches and lifecycle assessments.
Managing/ supporting (depending on grade) proposals for a wide variety of clients in both the private and public sector
Contributing to the development of our carbon management service offerings and supporting with business development activities via networking, seminars and thought leadership pieces.
Keeping uptodate with the latest guidance in the carbon sector

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Demonstrable sustainability (carbon) experience within a professional business environment, for instance in consultancy or other relevant organisation;
Experience of delivering projects, developing strategies and implementing change;
Demonstratable experience of engaging with clients across a variety of sectors;
Deep applied knowledge of UK and international legislation, policy and guidance in the net zero sector
Full competence in conducting numerical analyses and have some experience using a variety of digital platforms/apps
Experience producing concise, impactful written/presentation outputs to communicate to clients.
Works well with a wide range of people on a global basis
