Head of People Planning and Partnership:

Job description

This is a UK based contract and as such, you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK. Evidence of your Right to Work will be checked prior to interview.

This is a rare opportunity for an HR professional with
experience of providing both tactical and strategic HR and business support to play a key role in helping save our planet.

Right now, our world is under threat like never before. But there is hope.

You can help deliver a world where people and nature can thrive by using your
experience of leading a HR Business Partnering team to provide a professional and pro-active service that fully supports the strategic and operational priorities of WWF UK.

As
Head of People Partnering and Planning for the world's largest independent conservation organisation, you will
manage and develop our existing HR Business Partnering & Advisory team as well as our new Strategic People Planning function.

We will look to you to oversee the team working to enable cultural and process change and build engagement.

This will
involve inspiring your team to engage with multiple stakeholders across the organisation to set, enable and coach on people related working practices, employment relations and processes.

We will look to you to
share your expertise and learning to ensure an integrated approach that delivers a great employee experience which is aligned to our desired culture and core values.

You will
develop and embed a new integrated approach to strategic people planning, ensuring effective resourcing, structural optimisation and financial sustainability come together so that the human resource of the organisation maximises impact too.

As a senior member of our management team, you will also
provide advice and ensure proactive, best practice thinking. Important will be the ability to ensure that our working environment reflects our organisational values.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also have
excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills.

You will be effective at coaching teams and able to translate ambitious strategic objectives into realistic work packages that people can deliver too.

  • Our policies and benefits reflect the importance of people being able to have a good work life balance and being able to bring their 'full self' to work.
Our world needs you like never before.

We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it.

We are looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet's natural resources.

We need you to join us in the fight for our world.
