Your tasks


The Auxiliary Operator is responsible for the Manufacture & Treatment of pressure sleeves, mandrel sleeves, prepared and vacuum tested moulds and sharpened blades to the cell areas as required.

Cover absence in Compounding & Rota cure & any other department when required.

Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and others affected by their acts and omissions. To cooperate with the company and others to enable them to fulfil their legal obligations. Use any equipment or substance in accordance with any training or instruction given by the company. Report to the employer any serious or imminent danger. Report any shortcomings in the company's protective health and safety arrangements. Follow a safe method of work at all times. Use all necessary PPE where and when required. Work in accordance with the HASAW act. Assist manager and Health and Safety Officer with risk assessments.


Ensure that all pressure and mandrel sleeves supplied are of the correct dimensional specification and that all treatment has been carried out as per the SOP's.

Control & minimise scrap levels in all departments of work.

Manufacture pressure sleeves and mandrel sleeves to the correct specification as per the SOP's. Evaluate and manage stock levels.

Deliver clean and prepared moulds to Production Cell areas as required in line with SOP. Vacuum test the moulds as per the method of work. Work to targeted efficiency levels in all departments of work.


Profile:

Desirable Grade C or above in GCSE Level English and Mathematics or equivalent,

Fork lift truck license and NVQs Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Desriable experience in shift/factory work
