This role has a starting salary £41,127 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a forward thinking, flexible and supportive Procurement team?


Orbis Procurement is a shared services partnership between East Sussex County Council, Surrey County Council and Brighton & Hove City Council, delivering a strategic procurement service to the partners and a range of District and Borough Councils.


Our Data and Analytics team provide an in-depth analysis of all third-party expenditure and procurement related data across multiple councils.

Spanning the macro and micro levels, they can support stakeholders by providing business insights that supportdata-based decision making.

The team provides consolidated reports, drawing information from several industry leading tools and methodologies, and develop bespoke dashboards and reports to inform the wider procurement team on their work and approach.


This is an exciting opportunity to develop a professional analyst career in a team that provides a great working environment where you are supported and given a platform to develop.

Our administrative bases are in Reigate (Woodhatch Place), in Lewes (County Hall) and in Hove Town Hall. Some travel to the other offices is required from time to time.

In order to be considered for shortlisting, we would love to hear about;

  • Your experience of working with data across a range of platforms, using ETL and dashboard tools; in particular FME and Tableau
  • Your understanding of SQL databases and report writing tools
  • Your excellent customer focus and a commitment to delivering first class services, with great communication skills
  • Are proactive and able to offer innovative ideas for improvements
  • Want to contribute to providing highquality public services across the South-East
  • Experience in building strong stakeholder relationships
