Waiter/Waitress at the Groobarbs Field Kitchen


We currently have an great opportunity to join the Field Kitchen at Groobarbs Wild Farm as a waiter/waitress to help us on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (flexible shifts available).

Saturday evening service is compulsory at least 1 time per fortnight.

Who we are:

Here at Groobarbs Wild Farm we grow the most nutritional and fresh produce and deliver it to the people of the Northwest via our veg box scheme, whilst creating a customer base that is engaged and wants to learn about food, be more healthy and see where their produce comes from.


This summer we will be opening our brand new Field Kitchen, where customers can feast on fresh, seasonal veg plucked straight from the field.

We are looking for enthusiastic and personable waiting staff that can help serve food and drinks at our new restaurant.


The Field Kitchen:


  • Set 5 course, veg centric menu
  • Set dining times
  • Up to 84 covers per lunch/supper
  • Communal/ social dining
  • Open plan kitchen

The Role:

We are looking for someone who is friendly & fun, passionate about the Groobarbs brand, and willing to learn as part of this new and growing team.


  • Provide excellent customer service, wherever possible going the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Anticipate guests needs where possible and react to those needs to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • To ensure that a professional appearance and manner, is shown to all visitors, resulting in positive PR both internally and externally.
  • Presenting menus, serving, and helping customers select food and beverage by offering suggestions.
  • Sound knowledge and interest in seasonal produce.
  • Cleaning tasks and opening/closing of the restaurant.
  • Someone who has excellent communication skills, to communicate with the kitchen, bar, team members and management.
  • Pouring and serving drinks.
  • Experience isn't necessary as training will be provided but would be beneficial.
Part-time hours: 8 per week with more hours available
