Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic B5 or B6 Physiotherapist to work in our Paediatric Therapy Services.This post gives an excellent opportunity to work with children and young people with a variety of conditions.These include neurodevelopmental, developmental co-ordination disorders, MSK and respiratory.
The post holder will be based in the neurodevelopmental or acute team.The teams cover weekend, on-call and twilight services. Training will be given for these.
We particularly welcome applications from therapists who have experience of working with children and who enjoy sharing knowledge, exchanging ideas and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.The services are mainly provided in an outpatient setting at the child development centre. Travel across UHD sites is expected.School, nursery visits, and occasionally home visits are completed as clinically needed.
We collaborate closely with the multi-disciplinary paediatric team and colleagues working in social care, health and education services. We are committed to delivering high-quality services for the children, young people and families we work with in a child friendly manner.
Applicants must be car drivers and have access to a car for work-related travel.This is a 9-month fixed-term post to cover maternity leave.
