Salary:
£ £35,000 DOE
My client in Stockport is looking for an
experienced Product/Tech Designer. Salary is £ £35,000 DOE.

They are looking for someone who has worked in furniture, lighting, product / industrial design / been educated in that.


Requirements:


  • Have 2 years of professional design experience;
  • Have 2 years of Solidworks experience in the industry.

Experience in manufacturing processes for steel and wood
:


  • Proactive and able to identify opportunities for improvement within the current design of product, and the business as a whole.
  • Strong working knowledge of Solidworks to contribute high quality, innovative design.
  • Good technical ability

Duties:


  • Make use of strong modelling skills (Solidworks) including sheet metal, weldments, and production of technical drawings for manufacture and renders for presentations.
  • Ensure an efficient workflow from concept generation through to manufacture.
  • Develop bespoke products.
  • Produce costeffective designs that can be manufactured efficiently
  • Work according to Company design protocols.
  • Ensure efficient and timely completion of projects anticipating issues and proactively working to resolve issues.
