Dayshift Hygiene Operator
Buchanan's (Scotland) Ltd is a UK based manufacturer of confectionery producing high quality sweets for almost 30 years.

We are looking for keen, enthusiastic and reliable dayshift hygiene operative to join our team


The Role will involve:

  • Carry out all cleaning duties in line with published hygiene schedules
  • Cleaning of processing equipment, production equipment, production lines & fabrication to meet required standards
  • Deep cleaning of production areas
  • Completion of paperwork in a timely manner
  • Return all workinprogress to the area to maintain work flow
  • Adherence to all Health & Safety Policies & Procedures and Food Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • The ability to work under pressure of time
  • Report incidents or environmental concerns to your manager for escalation.
Located within Inverclyde, the factory is easily accessed on foot or by public transport.

This opportunity is offered on a temporary contract with a permanent contract available after completion of a successful probationary period.


Hours
Monday - Thursday: 7.30am - 4.30pm

Friday: 7.30am - 1.30pm

Paid weekly, one week in arrears


Salary:
£10.42 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Greenock PA16 7QF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- industrial cleaning: 1 year (required)
