The Role


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished and experienced designer to join our National Key Account Design Team as a Senior Designer.


As a key part of the sales function, reporting to the Sales Director, you will be dealing with National and Regional Housebuilder customers providing estimating and design from initial enquiry to build completion.


You will be a good communicator able to use your customer relation skills to provide customers with quotations, secure orders, navigate the approval process and produce construction issue layouts whilst maintaining a presence for the customer throughout the project lifespan.


You will be home based but will need to be flexible as there will be days/times when you will be required in office.

Any work you complete at a central level may be manufactured in any of our factories nationally providing a unique streamlined customer experience.


Responsibilities

  • Driven and motivated, but able to remain calm in pressure situations.
  • Able to plan and prioritise your workload according to customer and business needs.
  • Detail focussed, able to determine and achieve the correct level of required detail whilst also working to deadlines.
  • Experienced designer with intricate knowledge of roof truss design and relevant practices.
  • Good appreciation and understanding of factory production and onsite installation processes, showing consideration towards both during design process.
  • Proficient user of specialist roof truss design software (ideally Mitek Pamir).
