Description
We are looking for an assembly operative to join an automotive manufacturing firm in Halstead, Essex.

The company are looking for someone who is keen to learn that has experience working with hand and power tools.

The starting salary will be up to £11ph depending on experience, with all overtime paid at 1.5x rate leading to higher earning potential Hours of work are Monday-Thursday, 07:30-16:30 with an early finish on a Friday


The main duty of the role is to use various hand & power tools to assemble automotive parts from technical drawings.


Assembly fitter duties include:

  • Assembling products using various hand & power tools
  • Reading from technical drawings and diagrams
  • Fitting parts together
  • Sticking to deadlines to maintain production output
  • Following health & safety policies at all times


This position would be suited to anyone who has worked with tools before or has worked within a similar workshop or factory environment.

If you are looking to gain experience within an engineering company they are willing to train people providing you show the correct attitude.

Due to the location of the role, you will need to have your own transport to be considered.
