Reporting directly into the Credit Control Manager, the key duties for the Credit Controller are:

  • Manage and coordinate credit control procedures and policies
  • Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Compile and present reports detailing accounts receivable status
  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding accounts and payments
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding credit and collections
  • Assist in the improvement of credit control methods and strategies
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient operations
  • Ad hoc duties

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A strong understanding of credit control practices
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to achieving departmental goals
