Job Title:
Contracts Coordinator


Vamonos Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fantastic tour operator who offer complete travel solutions for group and individual travellers.


Duties:


Contracting and identifying new products for group and FIT tours through the UK and Europe including hotels, visitor attractions, travel arrangements, restaurants and guided tours around the UK and parts of Europe.


Effectively using the system:
Tourplan and uploading new products and rate details

Ensuring good oral & written skills are maintained at all times.

Working quickly and accurately, at times under pressure, within acceptable timeframes.

Maintain excellent communications at all times with suppliers

Working closely with the procurement and Business Development teams

Organising and hosting FAM trips for the operations and sales teams as well has overseas clients for show rounds.

Assisting when required, overseas agent familiarisation trips, involving a certain amount of time out of office hours.


Assisting with regular market competitiveness analysis and if needed assist in the recalculation of selling rates and re-negotiation of rates.


Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
  • Previous experience in Travel, hospitality within procurement, contracting or commercial operation is preferred
  • If you have worked with TOURPLAN before this will be a huge advantage
  • You must be able to have strong written and spoken skills in: French and English fluently.
