This post is for 22 hours per week, over at least 3 days, hours negotiable.Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
This post requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland check.
This new post is at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow which is part of Women and Children's Directorate, Acute Services Division.
We require a highly motivated person with an NVQ level qualification and background in exercise and physical activity or experience working in a therapy unit to join our dynamic Physiotherapy Service.
Experience of working with children is desirable.You will work within the Neurology team to develop and deliver therapy sessions as part of a rehabilitation programme for children and young people with a wide range of conditions.
You will require enthusiasm and imagination in order to maximise the potential of sessions.You will be a team player with an ability to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills when working with children, young people and their families.
You will also be required to do some Administration and ordering of supplies to support the Physiotherapy Service. This post requires a close working relationship with the wider multidisciplinary teams.The Acute Services Division is committed to offering all staff the opportunity to develop clinical skills and also offers appraisal, supervision and opportunities for Continuing Professional Development.
