Jane Tomlinson's Run for All is one of the UK's biggest not-for-profit sporting event companies, staging a large number of high-profile mass participation events across the UK including the Leeds, York & Sheffield 10K's, Leeds Half Marathon, Sheffield Half Marathon and The Yorkshire Marathon.
Run for All has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing Operations to join the team.As Head of Marketing Operations, you will be accountable for the development and implementation of integrated, through-the-line campaign marketing plans.
Through optimising marketing operation capabilities, you will ensure the marketing teams campaigns are set up for success, utilising the best tools and processes.

You will have a great understanding of what motivates people and be able to translate that knowledge into a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive the team to deliver high quality mass participation events.
Working with the Marketing team; across campaigns, product development, CRM, insight and digital, you will develop the plan, allocate resources and track budget.
Speed will be of the essence, as you will find ways to drive immediate results, as well as build long term success.
Data-driven decision making and the creation of scalable marketing operations and planning strategies, will enable you and the marketing team to achieve success.
Acting as PR liaison you will work with the Communications team to establish and maintain good media relations. You will be confident in dealing with media enquiries and will be the media spokesperson for the organisation.You should be confident in creating accurate and engaging copy and have some understanding of SEO.
You should be social media savvy, have a great turn of phrase and be bursting with fresh ideas and good at building relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the media.
With the Insights Manager you will research and analysis market trends and competitors and look to establish and develop strong partnerships with local, regional and national organisation to increase profile of the events and drive local engagement.
With charity at our core, we are looking to employ someone who understands the unique ethos of and aims of our organisation.
To be considered for this role you will need to own a car and have a full clean driving licence due to the location of events and requirements to travel.
Primary responsibilities
- To support the development of the marketing and pricing strategy whilst taking ownership of the campaign implementation and supporting roadmap
- To support, nurture and develop the marketing team of
- To work closely with the Marketing and Communications Director to develop the Run for All brand, implement strategy and activity that will maximise ROI
- To ensure internal processes are in place to manage briefs from across the business, ensuring expectations are set and met, to maintain positive internal relationships
- Manage external SEO and Marketing agency relationships to ensure deliverables are met
- Lead on all for all media enquiries
- Manage the marketing and sales budget and associated income streams
- Develop and implement creative marketing strategies that will make an impact, support the brand and drive entries into the events
- Deputise for the Marketing and Communications Director, where appropriate
- Develop and maximise third party relationships to deliver and drive new income opportunities and potential partnerships with the Partnership Manager
- Proven experience in a similar role, planning and delivering campaigns, with strong experience at managerial level this could be agency or brand experience
- Proven experience to lead a team to deliver simultaneous initiatives
- Entrepreneurial, agile mindset/approach that can work in a very fast paced environment
- Experience in reporting metrics and insights
