Pro-active Training are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor to join our Hartlepool Training centre.

Due to our continued success and growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our already existing team of professionals.

Pro-active Training are a construction training provider helping young people take their first steps in to their chosen career.


As a Functional Skills Tutor you will be expected to provide inspirational teaching and learning to both trainees and apprentices.

Manage a caseload of learners to succeed so they reach their full potential.

Deliver a full range of Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2, this must be high quality teaching, learning and assessment in a classroom and a one to one environment.


Duties Will Include (but not limited to)
Plan and deliver learning programmes

Manage and promote positive learner behaviour

Comply with internal and external quality assurance requirements

Address the needs of learner and work creatively to overcome barrier to learning


Skills Required:

Previous teaching experience

knowledge of Apprenticeship paperwork

Be able to complete all paperwork to a high standard and tight deadlines


Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Hartlepool, TS25 1UD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:


  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
  • Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
