Travel:


Whilst travel is not generally anticipated, the position may require occasional travel to our Head Office based in Cambridge to provide support to the business group.


Employment Screening:


The Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) is the required level of screening for any individual working with or on behalf of government departments.

It also applies to any individual who is required to work with official government information.

In order to be considered for this role, it is a mandated requirement that you undergo the BPSS screening process.

It comprises of a right to work check, identity check, criminal record check and three years employment history.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and formatting documents to ensure they adhere to TWI's Corporate Style and internal consistency. Liaising directly with customers both internally and externally on enquiries.
  • General office administration.
  • Front of house reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering telephones and receipt of goodsin.
  • Support the NDE group staff members with administrative duties such as travel arrangements, facilitating events and meetings and providing minute taking support.
  • Providing support with activities relating to Health, Safety and Environment, quality assurance, facilities management, and other adhoc projects on request.
  • Ensure all records and documentation requirements are filed and maintained to a high standard.
  • Support effective teamwork within own and other groups, ensuring that incoming communications are responded to appropriately and promptly.
  • To prioritise incoming work to meet internal and external customer/supplier requirements and to work to deadlines.
  • To contribute to improvements to procedure, cost reduction and efficiency.
