Description

An analytics and data organisation in London have instructed IT Talent to assist them in finding a Software Developer to join their highly motivated tight-knit, but now expanding development team.


This role would suit a self-driven problem solver who is curious about technology, and passionate about learning and working with new and leading edge technologies, whilst also being happy to support others and work within a team.

You will be required to attend the office 2-3 times per week.

Ideally, applicants should have around 5 years of commercial experience to perform in this role.


This role will develop and support new and existing products, including:

  • Front end development using AWS Amplify, React, AWS Cognito, AWS APIGateway
  • API development using APIGW, Cognito, Typescript
  • Back end services using Typescript, Redis, Timescale, Docker, MySQL and AWS serverless components including Athena, Glue, ECS, Lambda, Step functions, S3, DynamoDB.

Required Skills:


  • Advanced Typescript, and React.
  • Constructing, defining, building and consuming REST and WS APIs
  • Working with AWS
  • Comfortable in a Scrum / DevOps environment using:
  • Jira/Confluence
  • GitHub

Desirable Skills:


  • AWS skills
  • AWS Amplify
  • Serverless: Athena, Glue, ECS, Lambda, Step functions, S3, DynamoDB.
  • Experience in building engaging front ends especially data visualisation/graphs
  • Building with Terraform
25 days holiday allowance + bank holidays.

Budget is £50,000-£65,000 D.O.E, as well as a performance-dependant bonus of up to 20%.
