Description
Credit Controller required in Nuneaton but you will be able to work hybrid after 6-8 week training.


Duties will be:

  • Implement and manage all the credit control processes from invoice generation to ensuring collection of monies from customers within trading terms
  • Dealing with customer invoice queries and liaison with commercial teams for swift resolution
  • Build effective relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all customer records are maintained in a secure, accurate manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of correspondence and telephone conversations.
  • Ensure that the Credit Control Team Leader/Credit Manager are aware of any problems arising with customers that may influence our trading relationship & balances held
  • Ensure policy and procedures, workflow and archived records satisfy all audit and statutory requirements
  • Assist in all sections of the sales ledger department and support team members as required.
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as an effective team member
  • Numerate, accurate with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workloads
  • Strong organisation and administration skills with good attention to detail
  • Initiativetaking and flexible with the ability to work in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels both written and verbal
  • Good computer literacy, with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Confident telephone manner is essential
  • Previous Credit Control and sales Ledger experience required
  • GCSE Preferable
  • Willingness to learn
  • Communicates confidently
