Description

Established since 1777, Rosedowns is a pioneer in its field having an unrivalled reputation worldwide for supplying processing equipment and replacement parts to the vegetable oil and rendering industries, with customers in over 100 countries Due to continuing success and expansion plans we are seeking a CNC Machinist for a permanent position.

If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:


  • Setting and Operating CNC Machinist
  • Producing high quality components working to drawings and specifications
  • Milling and turning using different controls and a wide variety of machines
  • Mechanical engineering apprenticeship trained
  • Use of Fanuc and Siemens controls
  • Programming knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Good problemsolving skill set
  • Excellent communicator and team player


In return, we are offering an excellent Total Reward Package that comprises a highly competitive salary, shift allowance, attendance bonus, sick scheme, pension scheme, Health & Wellbeing Scheme, and 25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays.

Occasional overtime may also be available that incorporates an overtime rate.

Hours: 37 per week worked across either an Early and Lates Shift pattern (Early: Monday to Thursday 7am - 3pm and Lates: 3pm - 11pm


Friday Early:
7am - 2.30pm and Lates: 2.30pm - 10pm), or Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm

Annual shift allowance if applicable is £4,290 per annum
