La Hogue Farm Foods is looking for enthusiastic team members to join our farm shop and cafe teams in the run up to Christmas We are a small business, but we have a dedicated team of over 30 passionate individuals who love food and hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for someone who can be flexible and work in both the farm shop & cafe as and when required.

Work in the shop involves serving customers, stocking up, making retail displays and helping to keep the shop clean and tidy.

Duties in the cafe may involve the preparation of coffee and other beverages for customers.
Answer questions about our food items and menu.
Clean and maintain the work area, including the coffee bar, service areas, and front-of-house areas. Waitressing and table clearing. Work as a team with other employees to provide an outstanding guest experience. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a food service environment would be an advantage
Ability to work at a fast pace while remaining calm and composed.
Ability to multitask while working at a fast pace.
Positive attitude and passion for quality service.
Must be available to work at least one weekend day and some holidays.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
Good communication skills (verbal & written).

You will need your own transport due to the rural location of the business
