Merrifield Consultants are delighted to partner with a Children Therapy Charity to find A Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to join a friendly and professional team.

An exciting opportunity with responsibility for raising money through grants from charitable trusts and foundations, by developing well researched and compelling funding propositions and building strong long-term relationships with funders.

£26,800-35,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve an annual target by securing oneoff and multiyear grants from charitable trusts
Carry out research to identify and cultivate prospective funders and match them to potential projects.
Maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities, ensuring that all funder profiles are complete and up to date.
Develop excellent knowledge of their services and build internal relationships across departments to gain support for new proposals and involve them in new business projects.
Maintain accurate database records using our Raisers Edge NXT database.
Deliver exemplary stewardship to donors that inspires continued support.

Skills and Experience:

A minimum of one year's experience in trust and foundation fundraising.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
A proven track record of securing funding from trusts, foundations, and corporate entities.
Knowledge of the charity sector, including fundraising best practice and trends.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise
You will have a meticulous eye for detail when undertaking grant management, ensuring projects remain on track and that supporters receive timely and inspiring reports
