Your role

We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled contract & supplier specialist to join our supplier management team for technology in London.
  • We are looking for a Technology Category and Supplier Specialist to:
  • work in a team of experts that oversees and manages supplier relationships and is responsible for the negotiation of strategic technology deals
- support and assist our Complex Deal Specialists in the preparation and execution of strategic deal negotiations
- monitor and report on the performance of selected strategic supplier relations to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations, inclusive of the vendor risk framework
- liaise with procurement partners to review, report on and revise commercial agreements as necessary
- engage and drive sustainability topics within the supply chain organization specifically for technology categories


Your team

  • You will report directly to the head of supplier management technology. Supplier management team is part of the Supply Chain organization, a function in Group Corporate Services (GCS). Supply Chain was created to enhance value identification and delivery within GCS, supporting UBS with its thirdparty vendor management.

Your expertise

  • Bachelor degree with 35 years of experience in working with large technology suppliers
- previous experience in technology procurement and related processes matured within an international organization
- basic experience in Finance, Accounting and Risk Management processes
- detail-oriented with structured, organized, methodical planning skills
- ability to work effectively with staff from a diverse mix of backgrounds and cultures
- strong communication and problem solving skills, and advanced stakeholder management skills
- initiative and drive as well as the ability to work independently
