About the facility and opening hours
Making Waves is a private swimming pool specializing in lessons. Located within the Playsport Complex in East Kilbride, we teach over 2,500 babies, children, and adults per week.

Making Waves run lessons six days a week and have different classes coming in and out of the pool every 15 minutes in the afternoon and evening on weekdays and at the weekend.

Our opening hours are Monday , Wednesday , Thursday , Friday , Saturday , and Sunday

About the role

The role of the Swimming Coordinator at Making Waves is to ensure the safe and effective delivery of swimming lessons within the facility at all times.

We are looking for an individual who can keep calm under pressure, can adapt to the situation they find themselves in and can ensure that lifeguards and teachers are working to the best of their abilities.

They are coordinating between parents and teachers, which involves excellent communication skills, working to protocol and ability to work as a team.

Hours of work
The expected start date is Monday 3rd July.

The hours of work we require are

Monday 15:0021:30

Thursday 13:00-21:30

Friday 10:00-19:30

Saturday 08:00-16:00

Sunday 08:00-14:00

This is a total of 38.5hrs_

Training
You will be required to complete COSHH training online.

On your first few shifts you will be paired with an experienced Swimming Coordinator to shadow them, and to understand your tasks and responsibilities as a Swimming Coordinator.
