Growth Lancashire provides specialist advice and consultancy services.

Our role is diverse and focuses on supporting businesses to grow and simplifying support, caring for and developing Lancashire's heritage and cultural assets, securing and delivering external funding, promoting Lancashire and encouraging investment.

A private limited company, we are owned by several Lancashire local authorities and operate across the County. We provide delivery capacity and expertise for Local Authorities, the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership and other stakeholders, including private clients. We are proud to deliver Boost's frontline services.

Our mission is to contribute towards growing productivity, prosperity and places across the County. The company has a considerable history spanning almost 20 years as a public-private partnership.

Overall, our vision is for Lancashire to maximise its potential, capitalising on its economic strengths and its built and natural environment.

We'd love some more Business Advisers to join our highly performing, enthusiastic team of business professionals and continue our success in meeting and exceeding contractual outputs and outcomes.

We are looking for experienced and credible people who can complement the skill set of the existing team. Growth Lancashire is looking to recruit 2 casual Business Advisers to work on contracts in Blackpool and East Lancashire.

The role involves providing hands-on support, diagnosing needs, providing information and brokering effective solutions to growth businesses, networking and working closely with Council staff.

In East Lancashire, we are interested in those with a manufacturing background although this is not essential.

Our employing body is Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and you will benefit from their terms and conditions including access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Interested applicants are asked to submit a CV and covering letter detailing how you meet the key requirements.
