Description

Porter/Caretaker for residential building in Lancaster Gate London W2. The applicant will have previous similar experience and basic handyman abilities.

They will have a helpful and proactive attitude to ensure the smooth running of the building working closely with and to the direction of the Managing Agent and Directors of the management company.

Duties to include:
Daily cleaning to a schedule of common internal/external/lift areas of the building. Watering of external planting when required.

Daily management and removal of rubbish/recyclables from the building.

Responsibility for the general security of the building and monitoring of delivery and other contractors whilst on site. both physically and via the CCTV system.

To manage/distribute post/parcel deliveries to residents.

To provide general helpful assistance to residents on request. For example to help with shopping bags/pushchairs to and from front door to entrance area.

To facilitate access for contractors to individual flats when request by residents.

Fire alarm testing and other Health and Safety reporting of information as required by the managing agent.

References and background checks required.
