As the service office manager, you will manage the service department's administrative function in all areas associated with the people and processes.
Your primary goal will be to ensure the department's efficient and effective delivery of high-quality customerservice through optimising people, processes, and technology.
Detailed responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing a small team.
- Overseeing the provision of service engineers to customer sites across the UK and occasionally overseas
- Management of the commercial functions of the department, e.g. provision of quotations, service contract renewals, opportunities for new contract provision etc.
- Reviewing current processes & implementing key improvements to increase efficiency where necessary, & monitoring departmental performance against agreed key performance indicators
- Working with ERP and CRM systems.
- Implementation of service administrative processes across all global service centres.
- Liaising with all departments to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Experienced gained as a service office manager, office manager, project administration manager, document manager, administration manager, service desk scheduler etc
- Strong organisational, customer service and administration experience.
- A good level of general IT skills
