Job Overview:
We are seeking a Trainee RdSAP Modeller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting desktop reviews of retrofit assessors energy assessments for residential properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in the energy efficiency sector and wants to develop their skills in RdSAP modelling.
Duties:
- Conduct energy assessments of residential properties using RdSAP methodology
- Collect data on property characteristics, such as insulation, heating systems, and windows
- Input data into RdSAP software to calculate energy performance ratings
- Produce accurate and compliant draft energy performance reports (EPRs) for each property assessed
- Provide advice on corrections in line with RdSAP conventions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assessments reviews
- Stay uptodate with industry regulations and changes in RdSAP methodology
- Liaise with installer partners to clarify information and provide additional evidence where needed
Qualifications:
- a minimum of 2 years experience as a Domestic Energy Assessor or Retrofit Assessor
- A strong interest in energy efficiency and sustainability
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills in RdSAP modelling

£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
