    We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our team as a Lead Structures Technical Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating team activities, performing analysis on composite components and systems, managing the department with clear guidance, improving FEA methodologies and standards, and overseeing sign-off criteria and Type approvals for T&D.

    About the Job:

    • You will support the Head of Structures and Materials by being responsible for the day-to-day management of a subset of Stress Engineers;
    • You will assist the Head of Structures and Materials by providing clear direction, guidance, and support to achieve the maximum development from direct reports;
    • You will analyse and provide comprehensive analytical reports to the highest quality of composite materials using a combination of FEA and hand calculations;
    • You will produce analytical reports to the highest quality;
    • You will proactively manage potential issues to a satisfactory conclusion;
    • You will maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain thorough and current working knowledge of FEA.
