We are looking for an HR Assistant to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.

You will be responsible for providing administrative and HR support to our employees and managers, as well as assisting with recruitment, payroll, employee relations and learning and development activities.

You will also help us maintain our positive and engaging company culture and values.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR Manager and other HR colleagues
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies) using our HR software
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations etc)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
  • Communicate with public services when necessary
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • HRrelated degree or CIPD qualification (or working towards one)
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Familiarity with HR software and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • A passion for learning and development

Salary:
£25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Nottingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Human resources: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • CIPD (preferred)

Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Nottingham
