MPR/UPR (£30,000 to £46,525) + TLR2b £5,458

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Head of Geography to lead our hardworking, highly experienced and supportive Geography Department within the wider Humanities team.

Our department, which consists of dedicated, lively and innovative teachers, work collaboratively with each other.

We are fortunate to have as part of the team, a wide range of experience from a Teach First colleague through to a highly skilled and experienced lead practitioner.

Their strength as a team has led to high student numbers at GCSE and A Level over a sustained period.

As part of Unity Schools Partnership, we are fortunate to have access to the Trust Research School and Teaching School which brings a range of opportunities for continuous development and progression.

We value staff wellbeing; we have regular supervision from external professionals, offered to all staff, and adopt a sensible approach to policies, having a focus on fundamental pedagogy such as TLAC and Rosenshine.

Our whole school behaviour policy helps create an environment where staff can teach and students can learn.

Through the Trust we offer a staff wellbeing service, access to a tax deductible electric car scheme, a cycle to work scheme, and a two week half term in October.
