Experience
- Preferably 1 year experience, but not essential.
- Must have previous experience with jigs and cutting equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Welding and Fabrication of heavy steel.
- Must have the ability to carry out all aspects of work with accordance with Quality and Health & Safety regulations.
- Working as part of a team.
- Meeting production targets.
- Ensuring work is to a high quality.
- Carrying out MIG welding to high standards, using engineering drawings and jig arrangements.
- Must be able to visually inspect all welds, with the ability to recognise and resolve all faults.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings is desirable.
- Provide assistance on any projects which you are asked to be a part of.
Qualifications and Skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with detail and excellent quality of work.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings.
- Highly motivated with strong communication skills.
- Working to tight deadlines and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to deal with technical queries and problem solving
Salary:
£13.00-£14.00 per hour
