Description

DCH Construction Ltd was founded in 1946 and has grown to be a well-established construction company in the Southeast of England.

We mainly specialize in new-build and refurbishment projects over various sectors such as Housing Associations, Private Residential, Leisure & Recreation, Education, Industrial & Commercial as well as Local Authorities & Healthcare.

Due to significant growth, we are now looking to recruit a new member of the finance team who will report directly to the Financial Controller.

This role is 100% office based.

20 working hours split over Mon, Wed & Friday.

Salary £25,000 per annum pro rata.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Credit Control
Set up new supplier/subcontractor accounts in WorkflowMax and maintain existing ones
Deal externally with suppliers and subcontractors
Subcontractor CIS checks, reconciliation & returns in Xero
Code & enter purchase, supplier & subcontractor invoices
Check supplier/subcontractor statements
Assist with payment runs
Provide support to reception as required
Manage the Accounts mailbox
Assist with rolling cashflow forecast
Ensure expense claims are received from staff and processed
Manage weekly employee timesheets
Analysis and processing of monthly credit card
Assisting with month end processes
Assisting with Audit preparation
General adhoc admin/finance duties as required

Experience

1 Year experience in simliar role
Working experience of Xero, WorkflowMax & Hubdoc beneficial
Construction industry experience beneficial

Excel knowledge essential

VLOOKUP,HLOOKUP,Pivot Tables
Honest, loyal, reliable, and punctual
