Estimator (Print) - Glasgow
Are you an experienced Estimator looking for your next role? Do you have strong analytical skills with a great customer focus?

Gilmour & Dean Eurostampa UK, the leading manufacturer of scotch whisky labels in the UK, are looking for an Estimator to join our growing team.

We have ambitious plans and are moving to a new state of the art print facility in Cumbernuald in Spring 2024.

The new site will allow us to increase capacity to meet market demand, while providing enhanced benefits and welfare facilities for our employees - including an on-site gym and spin studio

Roles & Responsibilities:

Complete pricing requests received from colleagues, using estimating system
Working with the direction of Commercial Director for account specific estimating parameters
Manage workload and priorities, meeting deadlines where necessary
Strategic contribution looking for opportunities to improve overall profitability.
Preparing estimate analysis for review
Preparing customer facing offers
When appropriate working on key customer and key target tender exercises
Keeping and maintaining accurate records
Monitoring progress and success of commercial offers
Working effectively with key internal stakeholders: Commercial and Account Management, Customer Service, Purchasing, Accounts, Technical
Conduct analysis of estimated versus actual performance, providing reports for key stakeholders
Helping maintain estimating system
Maintaining pricing files for key customers
Strategic contribution looking for opportunities to improve overall profitability
Contribute to requests to find value for key customers

Experience & Skills Required:

Experience and knowledge in a similar role
Previous print experience is preferred
Customer focussed with the ability to create great relationships
Ability to calculate the cost and time to complete jobs
Excellent IT skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, with clients, suppliers, and colleagues

Working hours - Monday - Thursday , Friday - 1
