Position Description
Claims Handler - Warranty and Contract Claims

This is an administration role with a difference, you are responsible for a high value of claims every month being paid or not paid throughout our dealership network.

You will be following processes and using your technical know how in order to make decisions which can impact the bottom line of the business.

THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES

We administer Warranty and contract claims for both Volvo Truck and Renault Truck in the UK. The team are based at our Warwick head office and have a substantial period of service between them.

They are very knowledgeable along with being friendly and welcoming, lending their knowledge and support to new comers and long time colleagues alike.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

To provide a professional service with regards to all aspects of the warranty & contract claim handling process.
In assessing claims, check for legitimate parts and labour and where necessary, take up any anomalies with the dealership where necessary.
Ensure that any rejected or adjusted claims are followed up & agree settlements with the respective parties
Processing of any customer parts warranty claims received at the dealership.
Input of delivery & invoice dates as received from the Sales Department
Liaise with the Technical Support Teams to ensure that any supporting documentation requested by Product Support can be supplied to support the claim.

WHO ARE YOU?

Highly selfmotivated and with the initiative for lateral thinking.
Possess the ability to communicate at all levels professionally
Ability to work effectively and systematically to meet tight deadlines.
Have commercial awareness of the warranty process & potential impact on the business.
Experienced in warranty & contract handling within the motor industry, in a multinational company. This is preferred, but not essential.
