The Lismoyne Hotel is a privately owned hotel set in groomed gardens, tucked away just a 3-minute walk from Fleet Town Centre.

Our hotel has 62 bedrooms, bar, conservatory, outside seating, restaurant and 2 function rooms.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Wedding & Events Co-ordinator.

Main Duties

  • Provide effective coordination of all Weddings and Special Events and assisting when necessary, aiming to surprise and delight clients if and when possible.
  • Convert all enquires coming through to the Hotel and be aware of the Enquiry Conversion
  • Conduct show rounds for Weddings and Special Events, ensuring that correct information is given to the appropriate enquiry.
  • Forge great relationships and deliver effective communication between the Food and Beverage, and Sales Departments ensuring successful delivery of all events.
  • Produce accurate function sheets for each event with clear billing instructions and communication of these to the Food and Beverage Department.
  • Maximise revenue through regular communication within your department.
  • Ensure all booking information is recorded accurately and handed over to the operational team.
  • Promote a helpful and professional image to the customer, giving full cooperation to any customer requiring attention.
  • Anticipate customer needs whenever possible to enhance the quality of service offered by the property, to ensure customer loyalty is maintained.
  • Maintain visibility to the customer and perform a role within the meet and greet.
  • Actively promote the company in a professional manner at all times including the attendance at client events, networking and familiarization visits as required.
  • Responding to all enquiries in a timely, confident & professional manner, displaying a clear & comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, and its facilities, taking every opportunity to up sell.
  • Making clients aware of the full terms of business, including the cancellation policy and the need to confirm bookings prior to arrival.
  • Obtaining and preparing promotional material for offers and packages.
  • To ensure that all meeting broker enquiries are answered within 4 hours.
  • To be present on the day of wedding or special event to ensure smooth running of the event
  • To prepare P&L's for all events and present them to Sales Manager
  • Maintain events, wedding and meetings tracker on a weekly basis and record all the denials and convergence.
Skills & Qualifications

  • Selfmotivated, with a passion for the industry and sales & achievement of targets
  • A real people person and a good team player but with the ability to show initiative and work on your own
  • Well presented, as will be meeting clients face to face
  • A good clear telephone voice with excellent spoken & written English and good administration skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with a professional manner
  • Flexible, as working hours include Saturday rotation and may include occasion showcase evenings
