Description

The post holder will be the front face of the Waste Management Team, working with colleagues across Facilities and the wider organisation to make sure that an efficient waste management service is delivered across the trust.

A vacancy is becoming available within Estates & Facilities for a Waste Coordinator.

Responsibilities consist of comprehensive, proactive and professional support to the Sustainability Manager, by effectively supervising the delivery of the operational aspects of the site-based waste team.

Implementation and monitoring progress of the Trust's Waste Management Procedures.

Working closely with the Head Porter and Lead Housekeeper in meeting agreed standards, targets and priorities, whilst ensuring an efficient and high-quality service is always delivered.

Ensure work is undertaking in accordance with safety codes, Health Technical Memorandum's and other regulations, legislation and Codes of Practice, Trust Policies, ensuring all relevant documentation and are completed and filed as necessary.

Contract management of Contractors and Suppliers.

We are looking for someone with; good planning and organisational skills, able to speedily work with accuracy, IT literate and evidence of modern working practice.
