About the role:
Our Demand Planners serve as the driving force behind our retail operation, shouldering the crucial responsibility of accurately forecasting customer demand and ensuring our fulfilment centres maintain optimal stock levels.
As a Demand Planner, you will take ownership of the demand forecast planning process for your assortment, spanning both category and SKU levels, encompassing approximately 1,500 products.
Your key responsibilities will revolve around fine-tuning delivery efficiency within your supply base, conducting data analysis and trend reporting, and meeting KPI targets related to product availability, product waste reduction, and customer fulfilment.
Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Ocado's mission to provide exceptional customer service by fostering collaborative relationships with internal departments and a network of over 70 suppliers.

In this multifaceted role, you'll lead demand and forecast planning for a diverse portfolio of approximately 1.5k products, ensuring KPI targets for product availability, purge management, and customer fulfilment are met.
Your leadership will embody motivation, quality, and integrity, aligned with Ocado's values, and you'll excel in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office, and intermediate-level Excel skills are essential. Effective internal and external relationship-building, along with a proactive, adaptable approach, will be pivotal.Occasional weekend work may be required, and preferred qualifications include business acumen, a track record in demand forecasting, logistics management, and familiarity with e-commerce and supplier management.
Minimum 2-3 years of Supply Chain or FMCG experience desirable.What we offer you:
